The Tamaki Lightning Teams train 2 times weekly each (upto 3 times a week during pre-season). As we are based in the East Auckland area, our trainings take place at the Pakuranga Rugby Club in Lloyd Elsmore Park.
​We require all our players to pay a modest season fee of $120 for Seniors, $90 for Colts and $70 for Juniors. This fee will cover equipment rental costs, field fees and AFA registrations.

The Tamaki Lightning are always looking for more coaches to help our club. If you are intersted in helping out with any of our squads, we would love to hear from you.
We are also always looking for volunteers on game day, during fundraiser or any other capacity. If you want to help out, we would be glad to have you on board.
The Tamaki Lightning has a strong history with recruiting international players (Imports) to help boost the team and provide a depth of knowledge which has shaped the club of today. If you have prior Football knowledge overseas and are interested in spending a season (or more) in New Zealand, we would very interested in hearing from you.
In the Past our recruits have come from America and Europe and have enjoyed the opportunity to play football in New Zealand and spend time in this awesome part of the world.
