The Tamaki Lightning have a senior mens club entered into in the Senior competition of the American Football Auckland competition. The Lightning Senior team has been around since the inception of the club in 1999, having won a championship under the former Gridiron New Zealand Banner in 2005. After a rebuilding period in the late 2000's, the Senior squad has emerged as one of the premier teams in the Auckland competition and boasts one of the most revered defenses in the country. Having come so close over the last few seasons, including an unsuccessful trip to last years Kiwibowl, the boys are determined to secure a championship this year.  Click 2018/19 premier players button to view our current squad.
