The Tamaki Lightning have a senior men's club entered into in the Senior competition of the American Football Auckland competition. The Lightning Senior team has been around since the inception of the club in 1999, having won a championship under the former Gridiron New Zealand Banner in 2005. After a rebuilding period in the late 2000's, the Senior squad has emerged as one of the premier teams in the Auckland competition and boasts one of the most revered defenses in the country. Following a string of  Kiwibowl (Auckland Championship Game) appearances, the Lightning Premiers are determined to win the Championship!

 

Team fees for seniors are $120 per season and this covers registration with the AFA, equipment rental and club membership

All Trainings are scheduled to take place at the Pakuranga Rugby Club (78 Bells Road - Lloyd Elsmore Park)
